Smart Clock Tools is designed to work without requiring an account. Most features work fully in your browser. Depending on what you do on the site, we may process:

• Basic technical data such as browser type, device type, and request information processed by hosting and security services.
• Usage data such as pages visited and performance metrics.
• Shared timer titles, duration, and timer state are stored using Supabase so linked devices can stay synchronized. Viewer links can be opened by anyone who has the link; keep controller links private. Timer sessions have an expiry time, which may be extended by controller activity.
• If you contact us, the information you choose to send (for example a message in the contact page).

2. What we do not collect

We do not require accounts for core functionality. We do not ask for sensitive personal information to use the timers and clocks. If you upload images or choose custom backgrounds inside a tool, those files are processed in your browser for display and are not automatically uploaded to our servers. If you use the contact form, we process the name, email address, subject, and message you submit to respond to your request.

3. Cookies and local storage

We may use cookies and similar technologies. Many user preferences are stored in local storage so your settings persist on your device. You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings or by using the "Restore Default Settings" button in the application.

4. Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Google Tag Manager to support usage measurement. The tags configured in Tag Manager may process additional usage data. We use these measurements to improve performance and content. Analytics typically collect aggregated usage patterns and technical metrics. If you want to opt out, you can use browser-level controls (for example blocking cookies) or privacy tools.

5. Advertising

If we display ads now or in the future, ad providers may use cookies or similar technology to deliver relevant ads and measure ad performance. You can often control ad personalization in your browser and operating system settings.

12. Using online features

You can use the core clock and timer tools without creating an account. Sending a contact message or creating a shared timer transmits the information needed for that feature. Please avoid including sensitive information in shared timer titles or contact messages.
